1. The destiny of the soul
The yearning that drives the soul to incarnate is to know itself. This relentless impulse is actualized through the manifestation of its potential, leading what is unknown to flourish in an endless expansion.
Yes, the potential of the soul is immense, as much as it is that of the universe. In fact it is nothing if not an expression of the same, that evolves through knowing itself.
This implies that for the soul, to know itself and implement its destiny and purpose, is not something separate from the unfolding of the universal motion and its laws.
The intrinsic destiny of the soul is to return to its home, to merge with the divine: the earthly journey is aimed to achieve this union.
What deviates it from pursuing its purpose is the lack of self recognition. The human being ordinarily does not know itself as a soul, but more generally as an ego or personality. Therefore he pursues objectives motivated by the false desire of fulfilling needs that are not aimed at supporting self realization, but to fill that hazy and confused emptiness that characterizes the core of the false identity. It goes on a roundabout, exhausting his energy in trying to get things that are not his own, which is why they do not bring real satisfaction, because they are not in harmony with his nature and with the universal laws.
In this course we intend to unmask those unconscious and impulsive personality patterns that seek through objects, people, social position and more, to compensate rather than to sustain the soul in its process of expansion.
“The Destinies of the soul” proposes a sequence of experiences addressed to recognize the natural inclinations and qualities of our being, that are the basis of our authentic realization.
So what I want and what my soul has chosen as a task become the same thing, and there is no conflict, but alignment.
.
2. Opportunities, destinies, free will
Life provides us with endless opportunities; each of them is a possible way toward a destiny. Potentially, therefore, there are many. There isn’t only one inescapable fate, traced by someone or something outside of us, but there are endless viable ways, each of which can become our destiny, but it is up to our free will to choose.
The more we become aware, the more we are able to size opportunities at the right time, creating a destiny for our highest good.
On the contrary, to feel victims of fate is a dual thought-form, generated in the mind of someone who is a slave to unconscious beliefs that lead him to attract what he does not want, erroneously attributing this to his “destiny”: we tend to appoint our suffering to an alien and unknown force or to fatal events, rather than taking responsibility for it.
In this course, we open ourselves to say yes to the opportunities that life offers us: thanks to this opening, we recognize that abundance is already there, it is a fact, not a point of arrival. Being conscious of our experiences as a way to know our potential, we become aware of resources and talents, we mature the ability to choose what is right for us.
.
3. Needs and desires
– “What do I want?”
What we want is intimately related to our needs. Those of a primary concern have to do with mere survival; those of affective nature involve contact and relationships; and even more basic, is the daily contact with our soul, through meditation and introspection, which gives the thread of continuity to our experience and perception of ourselves, so that we can pursue our purposes without being diverted by the ego.
– Discovering real needs
Knowing what one wants is essential to have a sense of direction in life. To develop a proper focus to head us towards something that we feel full of meaning because it is directly related to ourselves, makes us realize our goals with personal satisfaction.
Often, however, this pathway is precluded to many and we find ourselves, maybe not so young anymore, not knowing what to make of our lives. One wonders: “What will I do?” We feel meaningless, unmotivated or exhausted, with a vague longing to go toward something, but not knowing what. In many cases, the constraints are the masters, and we follow a path already traced, ending up doing the same things, repeating the same patterns, but with little conviction, dragging by the mere fact of continuing to survive.
To re-orient ourselves, to rediscover involvement and enthusiasm is possible: the price to pay is to start from ourselves and reconsider our own priorities.
“What do I really need to be happy?“, If we respond with the mind conditioned by the past, with models employed by others (family, society, customs), we will not get a satisfactory answer to help us to re-design our life and to get on living with renewed motivation.
If the need is unreal, unfounded, it will automatically lead us to illusory and unsatisfactory goals: disappointment is around the corner because either we are not making it to reach the goal, or if we reach it, sooner or later we realize that it is not what we wanted, finding us again to the starting point of not knowing what to do with our lives. Perhaps in this case we are ready to chase some other chimera, just to avoid the vacuum that would invite us to look within ourselves to find out what is real and what are the important priorities to us.
During “The destinies of the soul” you are guided to become aware and stop following what you do not want, what is not yours, but that you’ve been led to believe that it was for you: those are the illusory desires which brought you to run after things unessential to your self-realization, scattering your energies in the attempt to pursue them, thereby forgetting the deepest longing of your soul, which is to fulfill its potential.
You desire when you lose sight of yourself, when you disconnect from your presence; one craves because he gets identified with deficiencies, therefore loosing his roots in the here and now.
The disconnection from presence nourishes desires: they are a mental image projected into a future that is not, and will not take you anywhere. The real need arises from presence, and it is perceived exactly where you are, recognizing what is, which is valued as a starting point to what you want to achieve. Thus, there is no separation but continuity between what supports the soul and its realization, which is perceived as something natural, simple and definitely within our reach.
“The destinies of the soul” is a process of identifying real needs, which starts by listening to your energy that has a solid foundation in the body. Unlike false needs, they support what you came for here on earth by incarnating.
-Redefine priorities
When we undertake a journey of self discovery, we are driven by the longing to get better, to feel happy and fulfilled as human beings, both on the spiritual and material dimensions.
But it often happens along this process to realize that one no longer wants those things that were important before; they suddenly lose meaning, we want to leave them behind because they no longer correspond to the new way of life we are discovering. One begins to doubt then, to put into question lifestyles, models, commitments, relationships.
“Where to direct my energy?” is often not directly intelligible; one looks within, new energies peep, mixed with old conditionings, and we remain bewildered spectators of this diverse and mysterious inner world. You feel a yearning to want something else, something different, more suitable to who you are, but you do not know what it is and how to look for it. Dissatisfaction pushes us to seek, but often we do not know in which direction to move. And so we are likely to fluctuate, to do things piecemeal or with little conviction, accumulating frustration, having the impression of wandering aimlessly.
This course puts us in the right condition to enter into ourselves finding what we really want. Loving oneself means having the capacity to exercise our will freely, bound to one’s own good. It is the basis for attracting the right things, that support us and make our lives meaningfully happy.
To free our will is therefore necessary to divert attention from what we do not want, by becoming aware of it, to avoid unconsciously attracting it into our lives. To let go of the false desires is a necessary step. By taking responsibility for what we attract, we become the conscious architects of our life.
.
4. The intent
The recognition of the needs is the first step, is what turns the energy on, that motivates us to decide, to move, to do the right thing, to go in the direction chosen by us. The intent is focused energy: presence, trust, openness, totality, enthusiasm, strength, courage, perseverance, are some of the aspects of us that support its actualization.
What are you willing to do (or not to do) to get what you want?
The intent gives the sense of direction that leads you to do what must be done, and if necessary to go a little beyond your limits, to leave the “comfort zone”. Thanks to the intent, you accept the challenge to change habits, priorities and lifestyles.
When you really want something, you’re willing to get fully involved and to live the experience of moving towards the goal as a growth adventure; you also agree to make changes during its course, because you are receptive and open to see where the journey is taking you. You are total: not holding anything back, you act from a state of presence, you proceed in presence, and hit the target in presence.
The intent is the energy that gives off when you perceive yourself as one with what you want. The intent is maintained and strengthened when you ride your energy and enter the action, no spare, with momentum, giving yourself completely to it.
Keeping it alive and focused can prove difficult sometimes: the danger is to be seduced by the distractions represented by false shortcuts or from wanting to settle for something less, as a surrogate of what was our initial goal.
One must guard from compromising, it amounts to betraying the value of our potential. The difficulties that are encountered along the way are the test whether we are pursuing what is really important to us and how much we are willing to stake to get it. If you are unable to achieve what is pursued, it is better to stop and reconsider the approach and the priorities rather than opting for a palliative. “A little is better then none” is a proverb generated from a level of perception based on survival and mediocrity. You can have all that you deserve. We didn’t come into the world to get satisfied with crumbs, but to manifest the splendor of our potential. Meditating and enquiring in depth what we want, gives us the chance to adjust our focus.
During “The destinies of the soul” you learn to recognize, feel and nourish the intent, and to keep it alive in the different phases of the development of your project. You learn to recognize when it is not and why, and to turn it on again. Through guided experiences, you become aware about what stands between your intention and its realization: you understand and let go of the negative emotions that cut and disperse your energy, interrupting the flow of manifestation, such as mistrust and fear of not succeeding.
We will expose the mental mechanisms of sabotage, such as distraction, stress, indecision, lack of perseverance, not feeling worthy or up to it, etc …
In this course, you learn to erase the distance that separates you from your purpose.
.
5. Essential Will
Will is power. It’s also true vice-versa. The root of it lies in self knowledge and in authentic self-love.
Essential will springs from personal power, which is to be the master of your own energy. To have power over it allows you to be creative and to have power over matter, that is you can manifest.
Thus your will is free to express itself, because no longer conditioned by an inflexible and stubborn wanting, necessary to pursue the fulfillment of a wish without relationship with your intrinsic nature.
In this course, you get free from the burden of coercion, imposition, the conflict between wanting and duty, finding your way to achieve your purpose in respect of yourself and with constant attention to the rhythms of your energy in motion.
The perseverance needed to power your will is fluid and malleable; it does not mean by this that it lacks firmness and strength if required: sometimes it is applied with determination, sometimes softly. The contact with the yearning of the heart is what gives you the measure of how to adapt perseverance to your purposes.
.
6. To apply the Law of Attraction
How to attract abundance? How to manifest? How to communicate with the universe to get what we want?
If we pause to remember the times in which we asked the universe things that never arrived, we can learn a lot about ourselves, becoming aware of why what we hoped for did not happen. Here are some recurring errors we want to free ourselves from:
-Ask less than what you really want
Under the influence of our cultural and parental heritage we have limited ourselves in formulating the right intent, we did not give ourselves the full permission to ask exactly what we want, because sometimes it seems “too much”, therefore we did not dare to challenge the established parameters. We unknowingly sabotaged us. This is an opportunity to expose these mechanisms and let them go. They are nothing but strategies through which we prevent us from entering our energy, fearing her beauty. Such magnificence needs to be honored recognizing everything it deserves.
-Asking without totality
And what about when we used the power of the mind to manifest, to no avail? Evidently, we limited ourselves in that case to the most superficial aspect of the law of attraction. Reality shows that it is not enough to think positive or fixate on a target to lure it; if the mind is conditioned by an unresolved unconscious legacy, our intent will be weak. Our conscious part will then be attached to a purely formal thought, not supported by our energy, still stuck in negative emotions of which we are unaware, and which constitute the very substratum of our manifestation.
The failure in this case should make us aware of the need to go deeper into ourselves and listen to the vibration of our energy, its emotional coloring, to understand what we’re putting out.
7. Manifesting abundance
- “Why do I want what I want?”
- “Do I want it with all my being?”
- “Do I feel the goal as already accomplished?”
- “What will I do when I’ve got it?”
Enquiring these questions will help us to clarify what motivates our intent, and to understand whether it has to do with our soul.
The secrets of the law of attraction are within us: you are that secret itself. That’s how your potential reveals to you, as that infinite subjectivity. The more you are able to enquire within you, to listen, to clear up, the more your external reality reflects back to you something that is in harmony with what you are.
The foundation of manifestation is the truth: to be honest with ourself means that the intent motivating our action springs from our being, so it already exists: it is not an empty mental image, but it contributes to the fullness of our presence. So if I’m not whole in sensing what I’m pursuing as a reality which already exists, it does not take shape.
An enslaved will attracts slavery: if inwardly we are restrained by conditionings, if there is confusion between what we believe we want and what we really want, then we will attract a equally confused and unreliable Universe. A free will attracts success and freedom: if we are free inside, and we allow ourselves to aim for what we want and what is good for us, with simplicity and trust, the whole universe is immediately put to work to serve us, and with ease and synchronicity we will see the results.
.
8. The great order of creation
In this course we explore the basics of how the law of attraction works, and we experience it through appropriate dynamic exercises, so that you can assimilate it and understand it with the body, and get in tune with it.
Every creative act in the universe is governed by an order that is repeated in the same sequence, and consists of five steps that can be summarized as:
- -conception
- -ascension
- -expansion
- -collecting
- -rest
We can see this sequence in a number of cyclical natural phenomena and in the more inspired human works.
Our creations, to be successful, must follow this cyclical movement of energy transformation.
To understand the law of attraction then means much more than cultivating positive thoughts or training our mind to aim for a target.
It means moving in tune with the rhythms of the universe, with its natural seasons, which are also the cycles of our soul.
We live in a world that has moved away from this wisdom, to emphasize a production model that does not allow for moments of rest and integration, which does not capture the beauty and the resources of the ups and downs, the variety of seasons, the biodiversity. There is fear of emptiness, of listening, of death. There is fear of change and by that the abundance that it brings is cut out. Everything is standardized and there is a strong believe that to be a successful person, one should always be at the top. But that is unnatural, contrary to the universal sacred laws, and does not bring contentment.
We need to get in tune with the rhythms of creation, to reclaim our power to harmoniously co-create with the universe. Only in this way our soul feels reciprocated, because it unfolds its potential by aligning with the source from which it comes from.
Moving while listening to one’s own energy through the cycle of perpetual transformation is a sacred act, full of meaning, where our manifestation becomes a dance and there is no effort, because everything naturally flows.
9. Self-healing the relationship with money
Today’s society is dominated by money, which is no longer understood as a medium of exchange, but as an end in itself.
Having money has become a priority: the expression of talents and the general welfare of an individual is seen as a consequence of how much money he has, the more the better. But the ones with common sense may have noticed that many among the rich and wealthy people who inhabit this planet, aren’t benefitted by their condition: large amounts of money did not bring contentment and happiness, but something quite different: it generates attachment and a sharp fear at the prospect of having to lose their welfare state and their source of survival.
On the other hand, it is common to come across people who are on a spiritual path and who have issues with money: they have distanced themselves from the false values of the consumers’ society, but in contrast, they’re still living in it and needing money, they can’t do without it. Many even hate it, attributing to it the ugliness of the economic system, so they reject it.
There are some who realize that in this attitude there is something contradictory, but they do not know how to deal with it.
Consequently, even personal development is hindered, as the conflict that lies at the base of their material support it’s not understood.
There is nothing wrong with money as such; it’s a neutral tool therefore it acquires the value that one gives to it.
In this course you have the opportunity to heal your relationship with money, letting go of the attachment and the repulsion.
You learn to see it for what it is: a medium that can support your realization.
Money is to be respected, administered with fluency and prudence. It should not be wasted or held back. If used with awareness it becomes a mirror of our attitudes.
To be economically recognized for what we do is appropriate to the value we confer to our work. Which is conventional. The origin of what we manifest is within ourselves and as such it is invaluable.
In this course we learn how to use money, rather than be used by it.
Gurdjieff, the famous Russian mystic said- “all that I held is lost, all that I gave is mine.”
